Sound Effects

We took my great-grandmothers console stereo and sanded some of the laquer off...left some of it for the distress-look, then we painted it. Last, I took a cross (purchased for $5.99 at Hobby Lobby using a 40% off coupon) and attached it to the front with glue.

Window Treatment

We took an old window and recaulked the panes with clear silicone, distress painted and put images behind the glass. I printed the images on resume paper and burnt the edges with a lighter.
